The process begins with an in-depth review of your end-use product and the performance requirements associated with the assembly.  Through this process our engineers gain knowledge of the assembly’s operating environment, critical design criteria, and cost expectations. 

Armed with this knowledge, our engineering team goes to work. This team consists of experienced mechanical, electrical, industrial and program management engineers.  We review the mechanical or electromechanical assembly’s proposed design and component content with an eye towards getting the best possible performance and removing costs, while still conforming to our customer’s original requirements. Revised design proposals may include different material technologies, alternate geometries, fastening or actuation methods.  With our proven expertise in this area, customers benefit from these proposed modifications through cost savings and performance improvements.

Following final design approval, Assembled Products applies similar engineering prowess to the manufacturing process.  Depending on volume requirements, our process engineers design dedicated and highly automated manufacturing cells in order to produce your assembly at the lowest possible cost and highest quality.

The final step is the development of product testing and inspection systems.  These typically utilize vision technology or performance verification systems as part of the assembly cell.
